Walking On Water in partnership with the Friends of Bethany Hamilton Organization and film producer Becky Baumgartner released the powerful new documentary about Bethany Hamilton on Friday, February 9th and kicked off the release with an amazing three day Southern California tour. The first premieres were held that Friday night in Huntington Beach to two maxed out, standing room only shows at the Pierside Cinemas off Main Street. Christian Surfers under the leadership of Stan Bryson and Bryan Edwards did an incredible job in hosting that event. The next night Saturday, Feb .10th we did another standing room only premiere at Mariners Church in Irvine, California. And then Sunday night we wrapped up the weekend with another standing room only premiere at Maranatha Chapel in San Diego. Over the course of the weekend close to 7000 people came out for the events and hundreds prayed to receive the Lord. The premieres were featured in the San Diego Tribune, the local TV news stations, Surfline.com, and more.
