One week after the world premiere of the movie we hit the road on a thirteen-stop tour throughout the East Coast stretching from Florida to New Jersey. Families, surfers, non-surfers, and people of all age groups came and enjoyed the movie. Josh Garrels would open each event with a few of his songs, followed by the premiere of the movie, and a Gospel presentation with music from Jessica McLean. At each event many came to Christ and lives were changed. The largest event was in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Greg and Helene Watts, along with a small team, spent countless weeks preparing and promoting for the largest East Coast premiere. Over 5,000 people showed up for the premiere with a packed out ballroom and overflow room. There were motocross, skate and BMX demos along with a concert from Braddigan. It was an incredible night that we will never forget.
