The Tweeddales from Melbourne Beach, Florida
Five years ago Bill and Jennifer Tweeddale joined in what they call the “movie ministry”. Being
surfers, they wanted to reach out to the surf community, and so the Lord led them to get
involved with premiering Walking On Water’s evangelistic films. They bought a huge inflatable
screen to show the films on. With a team of volunteers, they began showing films all over
Florida. We asked Jennifer how an event usually ran. She explains, “We usually do a showing
on the evening of a local surf contest. We set up the evangelism table where we hand out
Bibles, tracts, and of course, the Noah’s Arc & Outsiders DVD’s. Until the sun goes down, we
have games and giveaways for the attendees. If time allows we’ll bring in a band to play. It is
a group effort that we all are thankful to be a part of. Walking On Water is a great introduction
to sharing the Gospel of Christ. They get to see awesome surfing on a huge screen and go
home with something eternal.”
Getting to know the Tweeddale family was a blessing for all of us on the East Coast tour. They have a generosity that is rare these
days, and their faith was inspiring to witness. Jennifer Tweeddale recently informed us that their storage unit that housed the screen,
projector, sound system, tracts, DVD’s and everything related to their ministry was broken into and everything was stolen. This happened
right before a movie night, but they didn’t let it keep them from sharing the Gospel. They held the premiere by hanging two huge
tablecloths to show the film. They are a blessing to many and the Lord is using them mightily. We ask that you keep the Tweeddale
family and their ministry in your prayers.

Premiere on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii
On Sunday, December 2nd we held the first premiere of Walking On Water in Hawaii at the Haleiwa
Community Center. Around this time of year many of the sport’s top athletes visit the North Shore to
surf incredible waves and compete in contests held there. Damien Hobgood, Jesse Hines, Bethany
Hamilton, John Carper, and Alana Mock opened up the premiere to welcome all who came out for
the event. By the time the movie started we had people sitting on the floor and along the walls as
we ran out of chairs. Around 15 people made decisions for Christ. It was an incredible outreach.

As you know, the Walking On Water film is in the final stages of preparation for DVD and theatrical release that will then allow hundreds of thousands to hear His message.
