The Principato's Story
Joe Principato, a New Jersey native and avid surfer, found his life at a cross-roads three years ago when he first heard of Christian Surfers. He signed up for a Christian Surfers membership, and started wearing the Christian Surfers t-shirt. While at a store someone saw Joe's shirt and asked if he was a "Christian surfer". After a short conversation Joe ended up at a Noah's Arc premiere. With one foot in the auditorium and one out the door Joe stood there trying to figure what he was searching for. He felt the Holy Spirit tug on his heart that night and right there in the auditorium he gave his life to Christ. Throughout the past three years Joe's life and family have completely changed, and he is now a leader in his local Christian Surfers chapter.
A few weeks prior to our Walking On Water premiere in New Jersey, Joe's four year old son Nicholas was diagnosed with leukemia. This was a huge shock to the Principato family and for the Christian Surfers community in Manasquan, New Jersey. Joe expressed that if he had not given his life to Christ he would be lost through this difficult time. Joe and his wife Kim believe that the Lord is going to heal Nicholas, and the Lord has already drawn their family close together. As a fellow brother and friend we ask that you lift up Joe and his family in your prayers. Please pray for Nicholas to be healed and for strength and endurance during this difficult time.

Missions in East Asia
Walking On Water Mission Trips recently returned from East Asia where we taught surfing to a group of University students who had never dreamed of such an opportunity! We were able to build relationships by spending quality time and sharing our lives with them. We premiered A Heart of a Soul Surfer and Noah's Arc several times which sparked deep spiritual questions seeking out the purpose of life. In a country where such a gathering is illegal we were able to share our faith in Jesus and bring His eternal hope to these students. Please consider joining us next year in East Asia.
World Premiere of Walking On Water
The morning of the world premiere of Walking On Water was discouraging as it had been raining through the previous night and into the morning. By mid afternoon the sky cleared allowing the motocross, BMX, and skate teams to perform amazing demos. Braddigan, Josh Garrels and Jessica McLean played music throughout the event leading up to the world premier of Walking On Water. There were close to 5,000 people at the world premiere of the movie with many giving their lives to Christ. We would like to thank the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association for believing in this project and helping make this event the biggest in Walking On Water history. Thanks to all of our supporters and for those who made it out to the premiere.

Walking On Water East Coast Tour
One week after the world premiere of the movie we hit the road on a thirteen-stop tour throughout the East Coast stretching from Florida to New Jersey. Families, surfers, non-surfers, and people of all age groups came and enjoyed the movie. Josh Garrels would open each event with a few of his songs, followed by the premiere of the movie, and a Gospel presentation with music from Jessica McLean. At each event many came to Christ and lives were changed. The largest event was in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Greg and Helene Watts, along with a small team, spent countless weeks preparing and promoting for the largest East Coast premiere. Over 5,000 people showed up for the premiere with a packed out ballroom and overflow room. There were motocross, skate and BMX demos along with a concert from Braddigan. It was an incredible night that we will never forget.

End of the Year Giving
It has been amazing to watch God provide every step of the way since production of Walking On Water began two years ago. We want to thank each of you for giving financially towards this evangelistic film. Please continue your generous financial support as our next steps will be finishing a final copy of the movie that will be ready for a theatrical release. Our hope and prayers are for a nationwide and eventually a worldwide theatrical release of Walking On Water in the late spring or early summer of 2008. There are more production costs than ever as we come to the last chapter of finishing Walking On Water. Thank you so much for your support!
