“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And
the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6,7
Paul reminds us here that in an ever changing and often uncertain world, one thing remains constant-God’s faithfulness. Whatever trials
or difficulties we face in life, Jesus has told us to bring them to Him because He is more than capable of handling them. Paul urges
us to find our peace in Christ, not our circumstances. It’s important for us to remember that Christ is faithful in all things; faithfulness is
part of who He is. And in that knowledge we can find a wealth of peace that is ours for the taking. |
Personal Story with Buck Waters
Buck Waters has been a long-time friend and supporter of Walking On Water over the past
eight years. Buck came to us through our Director of Outreach, Mike Doyle in Pensacola,
Florida. Before Mike Doyle came to Walking On Water, he and Buck would set up premieres
and outreaches for the surf and skate community in Florida. When The Outsiders film started
touring both Mike and Buck started planning the Pensacola Premiere. It was an incredible
event with over 2,000 people in attendance. After this event, Buck along with Walking
On Water, began planning tours and outreaches in Texas, Florida, and through out Central
America. As Buck states, “these premieres and tours have been the richest and most fruitful
times of ministry in my life. God’s hand is upon Walking On Water and they have an integral
part in reaping a harvest of followers of Jesus Christ, especially through the surf and skate
world.”
Over the past few years Buck and his wife had been praying for God’s direction to work in the mission’s field. Through prayer and
research the Lord has led the Waters to Portugal. Western Europe is the most Godless corner on the planet and is said to be the deadest
and most desolate for Christ. On the other hand the surf and skate industry have been booming which creates a unique opportunity
for outreach and surf film premieres. God has opened the door for Buck and his wife to move to Portugal to minister to the surfers and
skaters and be a representative for Walking On Water. He will also be assisting Mike Doyle with the Walking On Water Europe Tour later
this year. Please keep Buck and his wife in your prayers as they enter into full time missions and please pray for revival in Europe!
U.S. Open of Surfing Outreach
We are preparing for the 4th Annual US Open of Surfing Outreach in Huntington Beach. We will again
be partnering with Christian Surfers Huntington Beach and various other ministries to spread the love
of Christ at this year’s U.S. Open. The Lord continues to open the door to evangelize at the biggest surf
contest in America with thousands of people coming from all over the world for the event’s festivities.
The contest provides a venue to reach the lost with the hope and love of Jesus. Please keep this event
in your prayers. If you would like to be involved or support this outreach visit our website or send us an
email to info@walkingonwater.com.
2008 Walking On Water Dream Surf Camps
Summer is upon us, and that means it’s time for surf camp. We are excited about what the Lord has in store for this year. We know
prayer makes a difference in the success of these surf camps, so please pray for the following: for the Lord to bring every person He
wants at camp, that He does a mighty work in the camper’s lives, for the safety of the camp, and for the summer staff. There is still
room available this summer, so keep spreading the word and help us fill up the remaining spots. Thanks for your continued support.
It’s sure to be a fun summer of camps. For more information or if you would like to sponsor a camper, visit

North East Tour of Walking On Water – May 28th – June 3rd
Walking On Water recently toured through the North Eastern United States with the band the Noah’s
featuring three-time World Champion Tom Curren. Walking On Water’s Director of Outreach Mike Doyle
along with Tom Curren, Chris Swann, and Marco Wood did a six stop tour through Pennsylvania, New
Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. The team did four concerts and four premieres in
six days. The tour started off with an awesome concert in Manasquan, NJ then went on to host amazing
premieres in Philadelphia, Newport, RI, Exeter, NH, and Portland, Me. God moved in amazing ways
and hundreds of people prayed to received Christ. One of the highlights of the tour was the sold out
premiere in Newport, RI. The premiere was hosted by Christian Surfers Rhode Island chapter directors
Chuck and Ana Barend and supported by local legend Sid Abruzzi. The team was warmly received
by the Newport surfing scene and the night was an amazing success with a huge turn out and many
people praying to receive Christ. It was a night to remember. We would like to extend a special thank
you to The Whiting family in Pennsylvania and all the other people who worked hard and supported the
tour.

New Zealand Tour Comes To An End
Walking On Water Missions Directors Todd and Renae have been touring through Australia and New Zealand over the past
five months. Over the past month they have been touring through the South Island of New Zealand. Each premiere has brought an
unexpected crowd of believers and non-believers from all over the world. In New Plymouth, NZ they hosted two sold-out premieres to a
theater filled with local surfers. Here is an update from their latest premiere:
“On June 25th we hosted a premiere in Wanaka, NZ which is a little town nestled in the mountains where snowboarders and skiers
from all over the world come to hone their skills year after year. Since we’re on the other side of the hemisphere it’s now winter and
the backpackers and hostels are filling up for the start of the snow season.
While in Wanaka, we had a really neat opportunity to take part in THE BIG FEED. This is an event hosted by the churches of Wanaka
where they put on a free dinner to anyone in the community. We partnered with the BIG FEED and were able to show Walking On Water
soon after everyone ate. With close to 200 people from over 20 different countries, God’s love was shown through us and other volunteers
as we served the Wanaka community and got to show them a film that sparked excitement and conversation about God’s goodness.
Please continue to keep these events as well as Todd and Renae in your prayers.”
