Even though missionaries are not allowed in this East Asian country, teachers are more than welcome! We are going to this country to teach surfing to university students. Surfing has not quite taken off there, but there is no doubt that it soon will! People in this particular area are hungry for American culture, so this is the perfect time to go there as an American surfer! They are very open to the gospel and want to know about Jesus. By spending time with them in the water, and teaching them your favorite thing to do (surfing), you will develop friendships that transcend culture barriers and beliefs. This will give you the perfect opportunity to share the most important thing with them--your faith in Jesus Christ. This is an exciting pioneering trip for surfing, because very few people travel to this part of the world for waves. But between August and October, typhoon swells frequently hammer this country’s coastline. These people are in desperate need of the love of Jesus and their hearts are ready to respond, so please join us for the “surf trip” of a lifetime! You don’t want to miss this trip.

• Teaching surfing. This is incredible! You will experience first hand how much joy and excitement surfing can bring to someone.
• Surf movie nights. You will have the opportunity to premiere Walking On Water’s surf films to an eager audience.
• Helping the students in their conversational English. This is something they greatly benefit from.
• Building friendships with the friendliest, most outgoing people you’ve ever met.
• One-on-one sharing. Often one of the first questions you will be asked by the students is, “Do you believe in God.”

We will be traveling to one of the southern islands for some debrief time and surfing.

We are looking for someone who loves the Lord and has an adventurous spirit. If you are a surfer and you want to share your faith with those who are in desperate need to hear it and you want to give the incredible gift of surfing, then this trip is for you! This trip is open to just about all! You must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by an adult.
