It is so amazing to see how God works in His perfect ways! We had been planning this outreach for a few weeks before we realized that it was going to be on the exact date marking the two year anniversary of the death of Emery Kauanui Jr. who was a local surfer murdered in La Jolla, California. God clearly had a bigger and better plan for this outreach event. A huge crowd showed up at the Carlsbad Lagoon to celebrate the life of Emery Kauanui Jr. The action packed day included a BMX demo, Skateboard demo, Wakeboard demo, five talented bands, celebrity MC Sonny from P.O.D., and a screening of the Beyond The Dream surf movie. There were four local news stations there to cover the event. Emery's mom Cindy Kauanui and brothers Caleb and Nigel were the guests of honor. Caleb is one of the best graffiti artists in the world and created an amazing mural of his brother Emery and also gave the kids an opportunity to test their artistic talents on their own mini mural. Nigel is a very talented Hip Hop artist and performed two songs in memory of Emery. Along side of Nigel were his very talented break dancers. Miles McPherson from the Rock Church did an incredible job sharing the Gospel with the crowd who had already been very impacted by Emery and his family's story. Many came forward to receive Christ! We want to thank Miles Ahead, all the local churches, and Brett "Bird" Matson for doing such an incredible job organizing and promoting the outreach.

December 3rd - 15th Bryan and Korin Jennings screened the Walking On Water movie in five cities on Oahu, Maui, and Kauai. The entire Hawaii tour was blessed in every way as each outreach host did a great job praying and promoting the screenings. They were encouraged to see so many people in attendance and to see many decisions for Christ. People drove long distances to be at the screenings and to hear from special guests Bethany Hamilton and Damien Hobgood. The Honolulu screening opened up with some traditional hula dancing by the students of the Kamehameha school. We want to give a heartfelt "Thank You" to: Eric and Ginger Dill, Justin Lewis, Melissa Laudise, and Stephen Laudise from Hope Chapel Kailua, Salty's Surf & Shack, Steve and Kim Santos from Calvary Chapel Westside, Lisa? We are excited to announce that Beyond the Dream: the Joey Buran Story has been accepted into the X-Dance Film Festival. X-Dance is the extreme sports film festival from the world-renown Sundance Film Festival. Joey Buran, Bryan Jennings, Nic McLean and Matt Katsolis will be traveling to Salt Lake City later this month to attend the festival. Please pray for the film that it will win the festival and that it will be a light to all that see it. Please be praying for Joey Buran, Bryan Jennings, Nic McLean and Matt Katsolis while they are in Salt Lake City, Utah for the festival on January 17th and 18th that they would be a light at the festival and that they film would do well.
