Movimiento (Movement) El Salvador

On December 6th Walking On Water's latest film "Walking On Water" was screened in Spanish subtitles at Movimiento El Salvador, a two-day evangelistic outreach in El Salvador that was put on by Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and Calvary Chapel San Salvador. WOW Director of Outreach Mike Doyle who helped coordinate Movimiento shared the gospel at the event in La Libertad and over sixty people came forward to make decisions for Christ. Cheyne Cottrell who stars in "Walking On Water" also shared his testimony and blessed a local with a free surfboard giveaway. One of the goals of the event was launch a church in La Libertad and as a result of the event a church began the week after and is now meeting regularly on Friday nights. And one person who attended the event was so moved by the experience that he donated a piece of land and Calvary Chapel is planning on building a church on the property for the newly birthed church. The next night the team hosted the event in San Salvador and over a thousand people came out for the next outreach and many more made decisions for Christ.
