The Haleiwa Community Hall was packed to the rafters as Damien Hobgood opened the North Shore premiere of "grommet-Endless-Summer" flick, Walking on Water. Brazilians, Aussies, and mainlanders joined local Hawaiians to pack in 400 deep as the rain played a tom-tom on the corrugated roof of the old gymnasium. Damo and CJ play solid cameos in the doco, centered on San Clemente kidlets Luke Davis and Tyler Hallen, who take to the school of the road: cruising all over the planet to ride the sickest waves imaginable and learn from the locals.
