I remember when we held one our first Walking on Water surf film premieres about eight years ago. La Paloma Theater in Encinitas was packed out and a friend came up to me and said, "Don't let this be the mountain top. God is able to do even more than this." I always think back to that comment as we continue to see God impact more and more lives through Walking on Water.
When I was 14 a local professional surfer took me on a life changing surf trip. After surfing perfect Honolua Bay on Maui for six hours, he told me about the reality of the spiritual realm. He told me how Angels and Demons were real and about the importance of know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This trip made a huge impact on my life. Since then I have always wanted to make a surf film about taking two young surfers on a dream trip around the world where they learn what life is really all about.
God miraculously brought the two perfect groms to us and for most of 2006 we traveled all over the world filming what will hopefully be the best Walking on Water film to date. Since this film is so much of the heart of Walking on Water we decided to actually title the film “Walking on Water” A Grom Dream Trip. It will be released in September of 2007.
